I designed a modchip capable of resurrecting the batteries of the famous Boosted Boards electric skateboards. The company went bankrupt, leaving users without technical support. Like many others, my battery suffered from a well-known flaw and locked itself, making it unusable. After reverse engineering the BMS, I designed and released this modchip so that the community could continue to ride these skateboards.

I found a PSOne and since the composite output was to too hard to witness on my LCD, I decided to create a HDMI output for it. The video data is extracted from the GPU and dynamically scaled by the Zynq for a fixed output resolution of 640x480.
At Andrew Alliance, I led the design of the complete electronics for the Shaker+, including hardware and firmware development, certification, and production ramp-up.

In the context of the exhibition commissioned by Vacheron Constantin to EPFL+ECAL LAB, this controller has been developed to allow visitors to interact with the virtual reality animation that shows the archives of the haute horlogerie company. When the VR helmet is worn, it is possible to explore a timeline by scrolling through the documents and to consult them by a simple clic.
